Industry Day 2026 points business to future programs

REDSTONE ARSENAL, Ala. -- More than 300 business representatives attended the Huntsville Center’s Small Business Industry Day 2026, Oct 21 at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center’s Davidson Center for Space Exploration, Huntsville, Alabama.

Presentation agenda consisted of an overview of Huntsville Center’s scope of work, and its planned acquisition strategy approach.

The event also provided networking opportunities as Huntsville Center program and project managers and contracting specialists were available with updates on programs such as energy; electronic technology; facilities; military support; facility technology; medical engineering/medical facilities architectural-engineering contracts; ordnance and explosives; safety and pre-award contracting.

After remarks from Huntsville Center leadership in the Davidson Center auditorium, attendees filed into the Saturn V Hall. Standing beneath one of the “Seven Wonders of America” — the Saturn V rocket, Center contracting specialists joined program and project managers to answer attendees’ questions.

Nicole Boone, Huntsville Center Office of Small Business initiatives chief, said the event was a success due to Huntsville Center representatives’ commitment to guide attendees and with how attendees’ business fit within Huntsville Center’s mission.

“I had so many attendees coming up to me to tell me our staff was so informative and so helpful,” Boone said. “Many told me they had no idea that their field of work could expand market capability and be useful with other Center programs.”

Huntsville Center closed fiscal 2026 with $2.49 billion obligated across 39 programs supporting military readiness, installation resilience and specialized engineering requirements for military services and federal partners worldwide.
